"What about the outfits?"
Way to really honor the effort these three-time Olympians have put forth to represent the USA. Great coverage, NBC.

John: But now there's this whole sort of catch-and-release policy—
Tom: Yeah, I believe in that.
...
Tom: Well, I believe in catch, put in your pants, and release.

Tom: So where do you hook this bait?
John: Through the eyes.
Tom: Oh, jeez.
John: ... Want me to do it?
Tom: Yeah, why don't you do it. He's already looked at me.
Tom: I can't do it now, we have a relationship.

“It’s an audiotape the New York Police Department hoped you would never hear.
A building superintendent at an apartment complex just off the Rutgers University campus called the New Brunswick Police 911 line in June 2009. He said his staff had been conducting a routine inspection and came across something suspicious.
“What’s suspicious?” the dispatcher asked.

books
newspapers
crosswords
old New Yorkers

Dark Knight ending (spoilers of course)

Lots of other problems with the crafting of this film, but I enjoyed it and I’ll definitely see it again, hopefully in IMAX.

The medias are talking a lot about hero Sally Ride passing away (and what a phenomenal woman she was indeed, wow), but none of them are mentioning that the woman who shared her life for 27 years, Tam O’Shaughnessy, will get no widow benefits from the States like astronauts’s spouses usually do. Because gay.
Lesbian is still an ugly word, eh?
