For the first time in ages I’m reading a paper book, a history of American whaling I picked up on impulse at a Borders liquidation sale and then forgot about.
It turns out to be a really annoying way to read a book. I never remember to have it with me, I can’t do any highlighting and saving of key passages to my Kindle account. And of course when I want to use the Google to look up more detail on something I just read about, I need to switch devices!
