LivingSocial offered an ill-timed deal yesterday, for a one- to two-night stay at a hotel in Altantic City (which was devastated by the hurricane). Twitter users were not impressed.
This one looks like a poorly-timed queue post, whereas the American Apparel email blast (“Bored during the storm? 20% off for a limited time!”) was blatantly capitalizing on the disaster. They’re both stupid, but only one is despicable.
