Linda McMahon, the Republican nominee for Connecticut’s senate seat, is lying about her party affiliation, hiring African-Americans who don’t necessarily support her candidacy to work outside the polls, and copying the color scheme of the Service Employees International Union in order to mislead voters. She trails incumbent Democrat Chris Murphy in pre-election polls despite spending at least $42.6 million of her own money on the campaign. Read more in the New Haven Independent.
