SHAKE THE BARON | TRUNK | LIVE IN THE MOJAVE DESERT
shot & edited by Ben Sweet (x)
File under: Things That Are Real Nice
Holy shit it’s online! Check out this gorgeous video shot by my friend Ben Sweet on a road trip through the desert with the most excellent dudes of Shake the Baron. Very, very highly recommended.
shake the baron is shooting a video this sunday
if you want free cookies and you want to be an extra (you do, you want this) then email RSVP@shakethebaron.com
I was just like “Are they playing Shake the Baron on MPLS public radio right now?” and then it was Pavement and I was like “Oh right.”
Getting pretty psyched for this weekend
Ran into a college friend on the subway yesterday morning and another from the same group of friends this morning walking to work. With the city weighing heavy on us all.
Shake the Baron is playing the Glasslands Gallery in Williamsburg this Sunday (with Beast Make Bomb, Sea Monsters, Flagland). Skip to 1:35 for la buena musica.
Sinking Sailor | Shake the Baron
One of my favorite STB moments at around 2:30 into this track.
Oh, and this is Jon Markson from Shake the Baron playing his guitar with a baby. Take that, Hendrix.
Solution: VLC, Preferences, Video, All (at the bottom), scroll, Playback Speed: 1.35. Makes everything jittery and hilarious but it works.
Also I can’t stand James Cameron, and also there is no reason this movie should be two hours and thirty-six minutes.
Shake the Baron: Concrete Tide
Current favorite track on the new STB album. Love that beat.
Shake the Baron: Zodiac Name
Aw hell yeah. StB with a new video. Love it.
